Install FriLi App on your phone

FriLi App installs in about 20 seconds, without going through the App Store or Google Play. You get a real icon on your home screen: one tap and the app opens full screen, just like a regular app.

Open FriLi App

Address: app.liliroad.com

1. Choose your device

On iPhone and iPad, you must use your browser’s Share button. There is no automatic “Install” button.

Safari (the iPhone’s default browser)

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share ⬆︎ button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen. On some iOS versions it is inside the ⋯ menu.
  3. Scroll down the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Keep the name FriLi. If you are offered “Open as Web App”, leave it switched on.
  5. Tap Add at the top right.
✅ The FriLi icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the app.
Chrome, Edge or Firefox on iPhone

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in your browser.
  2. Tap the Share ⬆︎ button (in the address bar at the top right in Chrome, or inside the ⋯ menu).
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.
This option requires iOS 16.4 or later. If you cannot see it, simply open the site in Safari and follow the method above.
iPad

Same method as on iPhone: in Safari, the Share ⬆︎ button is at the top right of the address bar, then Add to Home Screen → Add.

Chrome (the most common browser on Android)

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in Chrome.
  2. If an “Install FriLi App” banner appears at the bottom of the screen, tap Install and skip to step 5.
  3. Otherwise, tap the ⋮ menu (three dots, top right).
  4. Choose Install app (or “Add to Home screen”), then Install.
  5. Confirm with Add. The icon is created on your home screen and in your app list.
✅ Tap the FriLi icon: the app opens full screen, without an address bar.
Samsung Internet (Samsung phones)

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in Samsung Internet.
  2. Tap the ☰ menu (three lines, bottom right).
  3. Choose Add page to then Home screen (or “Install app” if offered).
  4. Confirm with Add.
Firefox

  3. Choose Install (or “Add to Home screen”).
  4. Confirm with Add.
Labels may vary slightly depending on your phone brand and Android version. If you cannot find the option, try Chrome.
Chrome or Edge (Windows, Mac, Linux)

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in Chrome or Edge.
  2. In the address bar, on the right, click the ⊕ Install icon (a screen with an arrow).
  3. Otherwise: ⋮ menu → Cast, save and share → Install FriLi App (in Edge: ⋯ → Apps → Install this site as an app).
  4. Click Install.
Safari on Mac

  1. Open app.liliroad.com in Safari (macOS Sonoma or later).
  2. Menu File → Add to Dock.
  3. Click Add.

Frequently asked questions

I cannot see the install option

Make sure you are on app.liliroad.com (and not on the liliroad.com website), that you are using the right browser (Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android) and that your phone is up to date. If you are inside the built-in browser of another app (Instagram, Facebook, Gmail…), open the link in Safari or Chrome using the “Open in browser” menu.

Does it take up space on my phone?

Installing the icon takes almost no space on your phone.

How do I update the app?

You do not need to do anything: the app updates itself each time you open it while connected to the internet.

How do I uninstall it?

Like any app: long-press the FriLi icon, then “Remove App” (iPhone) or “Uninstall” (Android).

I changed phones, what should I do?

Simply repeat the installation on your new phone, then sign in with your usual account.
